1. Doubts & Fears: The issue of doubts and fears is the most common reason individuals visit hypnotherapy establishments. Once the hypnotherapist has their customer in the basic state of tranquility, he/she will attempt to confront the issues. The hypnosis will confront the individual’s mental ailments, by talking to the person directly. For example, if the individual has a fear of heights the hypnotherapist will say, “We will slowly walk up to the edge of a cliff. Although it may seem dangerous, you remain calm”.

2. Confidence: This form of hypnotherapy has been recently popularized by former or current athletes. Although each sports athlete may seem like an Adonis on the field/court, they are humans with regular fears. Recently several athletes have admitted to a lack of confidence in their respective sports, and have turned to hypnosis for a solution. Within the same style of disabling doubts and fears, the hypnotherapist will confront the individual’s lack of confidence by talking directly at it. For instance, the hypnotherapist will say, “You know you are one of the best athletes. You have done all of the necessary practice, now all you have to do is have fun and play the game”.

3. Astrology & Horoscopes: It is believed that each person was born on a specific date for a special reason. Each month holds a different hue of emotion, and each number represents a different ideology. There is several lucky numbers, such as 1, 3, 7, and 9. There is of course a list of unlucky numbers, the most notable of course being 13. Through this practice of matching numbers with emotions and ideologies, it allows the customer to become aware of his true meaning and solve issues with a clear reality.

4. Dreams: Sigmund Freud believed that the unconscious of men and women is revealed through their dreams. Not every dream, should be interpreted into a different message, but each dream is sprinkled with some of the individual’s fears, concerns, urges, enjoyments. In dissecting ones dreams individuals can garner a better understand of themselves and the world around them. Once an individual can truly understand themselves, they can perceive the world in a crystal clear reality.
