I have always wanted to learn hypnosis and I was wondering just how hard it is to learn. Where would I go to find a reputable school etc. I find it very fascinating and would really like to try it. I use to be a nurse and have seen how well it works with some medical conditions.

I have always been interested in learning too, perhaps so I can practise it to help others, but have not yet done anything about it. I suppose you could start by looking for potential courses in your area, and I also wonder if there are any good on-line courses via reputable educational places that can be done.

There are correspondence courses out there to learn, and I even did one myself many years ago. However, to practice effectively and ethically, I really feel its more appropriate to go for personal training with a tutor. I found the correspondence route grossly lacking in sufficient information or testing of your skills as a therapist, and so I went on to obtain more appropriate qualifications.

Perhaps ring around a few hypnotherapists in your own region and ask where they did their training, that way you will find you are better able to judge where is best for you to go?

Recently i bought some course of hypnosis. The course won't be able to let me put someone under my spell and make them quack like a duck or anything. What the course can do is teach me how do appear to be more authoritative, charismatic, attractive, right, and persuasive.

So have you looked at our thread on using hypnosis for seduction?
