Hi guys

I am after some advice please. How do I go about recording Hypnotherapy CDs. I am a bit of a techno phobe, and don't know if I need special equipment or software. Can someone please help me, so that I can then record my sessions with clients and then give to them at the end of their session.

Thank you,

Gavin.

Hi Gavin,

Welcome to the forum...

I have never actualy recorded cd's for clients during sessions, but I guess if I were going to do it then it should just take a laptop and a decent microphone.

A great recording software is something called audacity... Its free so getting it and seeing if it works for you is a no brainer. The links below.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Looking forward to what the other therapists here use.

Hope this helps...

I never record cd's for clients as part of their session either. Mainly because this would infer that the session alone is insufficient and may affect their perception of the viability of hypnosis, and how long their recovery may take.

Where I have recorded CD's in other circumstances for people (possibly specific meditations etc.) - then I've used Garage Band, simply because I'm a Mac user and this is simple enough software for very excellent quality results. Unfortunately it doesn't come for free though.
