I don't think that there is a hard-and-fast answer. The child needs to be self-aware, and to have sufficient understanding to be able to interact intelligently with the hypnotist. Generally, that means a good grasp of language and his or her own imagination.
Using hypnosis on a small child generally involves using stories and play, not the familiar type that you see on the movies. (In fact, this can work for adults, too.)
Legally, countries differ in their approach. |
