Every few years I have to add a splash of color somewhere in the home to help me get through those dull, dreary winter months. I usually choose rich, deep reds and golds. These colors seem to add the warmth that is missing outdoors.
Does anyone here use color to lift their spirits? If so, what colors are effective for you? |

| I think I am very comfortable with the sky blue color. I feel fresh and especially during the evening time this color fills the environment with unexplanable enthusiasm in me atleast. The contrast is the deep red color, I never felt it good on walls. |

| I have a Victorian home so I like to stick to that color palette which usually involves many many colors all together. Some people may think it's busy, but I think it makes my home feel warm and cozy. I don't like to take colors too seriously, but I don't want it to look like a circus and want to stick to the period as closely as possible. |

| I am a bold color person. Just changing a shirt from black to bright blue can make my mood change. Yes I have actually noticed this in my every day surroundings. |
