| I've never read or heard of anything that supports this idea. I'd be wary of anyone offering hypnosis as a way to make your hair grow. If you're losing hair because of stress, hypnosis could be part of a solution toward at least trying to eliminate or lessen that factor. |

| Umm interesting as just last week my brother-in-law asked me this question and I did say that there was no evidence to support it could work, but he has been spending lots of money on products claiming to stimulate hair growth or replace bald patches but none of them are doing anything. I do think it is mind over matter with him as I really cant see where he is losing his hair. |

| Well if it's 'helping' your brother-in-law to stop losing his hair then I guess he should keep going with whatever works. Even if it's just a placebo effect there's really no reason to cut it out if it's working! |

| Hypnosis cannot help your hair grow faster. I heard there are medicines that can make your hair grow really fast. Try them if you want to make someone's hair grow faster. |

But even in that the stress will be eliminated only for a temporary basis. You cant remove it permanantly and hairloss is nor because of an hour or two of stress and tension.  |

| I cant see how it would either, i do agree with R1986 if hairloss is stress related then hypnosis can help with the symptom but it wont bring your hair back!. |

| I think this is another one of those questions like "can hypnosis make you grow taller?" A lot of people don't know all the facts about hypnosis and just make ridiculous claims as if hypnosis were some sort of magic. |

| I don't think so.hair growing is something you cannot control through other ways than using different chemicals on your head. |
