Do you think that there are any disadvantages in hypnotherapy?I'm wondering if there is a bad side to this.

Maybe you get addicted...Who knows Smile Hopefully those who use hypno, fell better after, and they are not experiencing any disadvantages.

Oouch, I would hope that any professional hypnotherapist would be ethical and professional enough to ensure that you aren't "addicted" to hypnosis as a therapy.

Yet, I would also suggest to you that you enter various levels of hypnotic trance several times per day - such as daydreaming - so it is a natural state of being.

If you would go to a hypnotherapist for every single thing that occurs in your life as a challenge, then I would be very concerned and encourage you to confront this as a behaviour and look at the considerations of personal responsibility.

On the other hand, I believe it is reasonable to use a light self-hypnosis regularly to aid entering a more resourceful and solution-orientated state - Einstein was known to do it often - EUREKA!
