There was a Art exhibition in Honduras last year, where an artist took a stray dog, tied the dog in a art gallery and let it starve!!!

Most normal human- beings find this disgusting and started a petition and I hope you all agree with me and sign this petition.

Please google the name "Guillermo Vargas Habacuc" and you can see the pictures and read hundreds of comments.

To sign the petition please go to petitiononline.

I hope you all agree with me and tell as many people as possible, I'm sure you don't want this to happen again this year!

When I read this, my first reaction was to suspect a hoax. After all, such a story most likely would have made international headlines.

Here is what I've found:

Wikipedia says this is a hoax.
Wikipedia wrote:
... other than a three-hour period during which the dog was on display as part of Vargas' exhibit, the gallery alleges the dog was not tied up, and was fed with food brought in by Vargas himself. ... the animal was fed regularly and was only tied up for three hours on one day before it escaped.

Urban Legends considers this "disputed", but quotes the Observer as printing, '... according to Galeria Codice director Juanita Bermúdez this did not happen. "It was untied all the time except for the three hours the exhibition lasted, and it was fed regularly with dog food Habacuc himself brought in. ... The dog escaped the next day and was not seen again."'

Snopes also considers this as "undetermined".

The Humane Society of USA considers that the use of the dog was unacceptable, but that the story itself is untrue.

This is one case where it is a relief to find that this is in fact, a hoax. Anyone who would do that to an animal is disgusting. This just shows how news grows bigger the farther it travels.
