Little rituals..

Do you have any little rituals that you do on a regular basis?
Maybe for luck? or just for security?
For example, I always have to imprint on my brain the moment of locking my front door. Even thought I know I've done it, i will still go back to check before I leave, so that later in the day if I think 'did I lock my front door? the memory is firmly there.
And my other half has a 'lucky' tie that he wears for job interviews and special occasions.

I am the same way with the door locking thing...I am always so paranoid that I didn't lock the door after I come home. I live alone so I always tend to check once or twice just to make sure. I should trust myself though...lol

My sister does the door locking thing every night. I think it's more of an OCD rather than a ritual because she does it in every door and does it all over again when she is disturbed. As for my rituals, I brush my teeth in the shower every night.

I have similar ones but its not door locking.

Since i live alone and make my own food, i always have this thing on mind if i turned off the gas knob.

And another one is, once I got my laptop PCMCIA card short circited while i was using internet on a rainy day and storm and thuders were going on. And now i always think of if i unplugged the cable from my laptop before leaving the room.

I do the same thing with my door but I think it is more paranoia then a ritual. I use to have some rituals when I played sports but I don't have many others in my day to day life.
