| I find this a very interesting thing to do. However, I'm not sure of exactly how you come out of self-hypnosis without having someone there to help you? Do the cd's help with that as well? |

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to.
When doing self-hypnosis with a CD, it should include a wake-up at the end. If it doesn't, you could either fall asleep or just open your eyes and get on with your day.
When using self-hypnosis without a CD, you remain in full control the entire time. |

Ok, well that just shows how new I am to this! I have always been under the impression that the reason you would wake up is because someone else brings you out of it. I guess I am a bit wet behind the ears.  |

There's a lot of misconception about hypnosis.
Stage hypnotherapy and Hollywood make out hypnosis to be some nearly-magical process by which one person takes complete control of another, with the subject suffering amnesia after the event.
It's not really like that. |
