'The Client' is nervous already - the Internal fight/flight mechanism has 'The Clients' heart rate at round about heart attack rate, when you first meet. This is better than this ! |
I don't know about this one... I'm not really one to trust someone smiling one of those "generous smiles." Makes me think they're up to something, ya know? |

mmmm, I'm still not convinced sorry.. .To me a nice generous smile (might say to your client, Yes I'm a bit loopy - but that means you can trust me even more...) The tight lipped approach just does not work.
People need to either have someone that they can relate to, or someone to be inspired by..
*Dare I say it - Rapport.
I have worked for over 15 years with 'Passing' trade, one comment I like more often than not, is how very professional my business is, and the positive energy I give out.. And guess what, you dont even need a diploma to smile - its absolutely FREE
I would quote you the smile is infectious poem, however I'm sure you read it before, please check the context of what Im saying, its not a paint on smile from start to finish - but as I said, its to allow your client to relax, and put yourelf in their position... Smile and the world smiles with you...

Tip 1: I am just going to do another round of 5000 flyers in a few weeks time so I will let you know how I get on! - It will be good to get out in the fresh air too and enjoy the walk. |
Hi Richard
How did those 5,000 flyers go?
I'm planning to have a company do the door drop - at £35/1000 it isn't worth my time to take them around. However I'm just concerned at response rate. 10,000 drop is going to cost about £700 with good quality print brochure and VAT.
I need to get a 4x return on marketing minimum so need at least 10-15 clients to cover that. What happened on your leaflet drop?
Did you do a brochure or just a postcard?
Do you have a time-based offer?
