Recently a client asked me if I accepted Gov Grants?

How does this work?
Is it successful?
Where/How do I register?

Is it worth it?
Can anyone give examples please?

*If you need me I'll be in Gondor...

It was someone who had contacted me via email wanting to know if I ran any courses, and if i would be able to accept a gov grant as payment?

So I guess were both right - I was refering to a potential client in terms of student.

I agree it would be complicated for clients to pay for treatment with gov grants.. LOL .

So does anyone have any knowledge, they could share about this.. ?

Ah OK,

I have heard about it for training, but - like we need anymore hypnotherapists in the UK - I think not.

I know that some people can be referred through certain NHS trusts to hypnotherapists that are registered as an NHS service provider. You can also register at http://www.nhsdirectory.org to get referrals from health care professionals, however you need to make sure that you are in an area where the PCT will pay for the treatment.

Has anyone ever gotten anything from that NHS Directory?

I asked them what they did for the £70 you pay and basically they just review your documents and list your site. They don't promote CAM to PCTs or GPs.

Nothing proactive.
