Bad use of hypnotizing

ABC News: Hypnotic Mind Coach Accused in Teen Rapes

He has so many previous charges filed on him earlier. Guess he would never change his track to good living.

If that was his wish to be be famous, he succeeded.

I would say TRUST NO ONE, not even your doctor anymore!!!!

Wow. This guy really had it coming. He also ruined the profession. People might become doubtful of psychotherapists because of him. If you think about it though, it is easy to deceive someone with that profession.

I disagree re him ruining the profession. The report states clearly that he 'posed as' a therapist, and uses the term 'purported therapist' identifying that he had no formal qualifications.

For me it highlights the continued need for recognisable regulation, internationally, that potential clients can refer to identify genuine therapists in order to protect themselves.

What this guy did goes strongly against my personal moral values, however I also acknowledge that the girls went to see him on face value without any real checks. And yes, I do acknowledge that the majority of the public would do just that.
