Ewan McGregor stopped smoking just over a year ago with the help of hypnotherapy and now he can't believe he had so many problems giving up in the past.

I agree with Paddy here, I reckon even I'd be more inclined to stop if I thought I'd got cancer. Willpower, N.R.T, Zyban and even both parents dying of smoking related illnesses 4 years apart hasn't managed to stop me for longer than 6 months.   |

| I agree that it was quite likely to be his cancer scare - something had to crop up to give him his ultimate motivation to really quit! |
