| I have an aunt who was not that rich. They were having trouble with money. One day she was walking around the street than she saw a man in black ( his every clothing was black ). That man hypnotised her and made her give all the money she had. This was a crisis. So, I guess the power of hypnotising people can be used for evil.... Don't you think? |

Holy crap zerzis! I think your description alone is proof enough that you are the hypnotherapist! I am sending the paddy wagon to pick you up right now! Shame on you for taking a little old lady's money! |

Hahahaha . Oh man, that made me laugh.
I guess anyone can abuse anything and turn it into evil. There are always horror stories about almost everything. Isn't in unwise to get hypnotized by a stranger whose credentials you don't even know? And how did that happen? Was she walking down the street and some guy just said, "Hey lady, can I hypnotize you?"
I'm not trying to mock the situation, I just don't understand the whole story. |

| I've mentioned in another thread that i have heard of similar stories to this. I do wonder how these stories have all come about! |

I started searching this "street hypnosis" phenomena, and apparently it's somewhat of an issue. Many con artists are learning hypnosis as a way to steal. And there are so many websites claiming that they can make you a master hypnotist in a very little amount of time.
Here's a little article about a case in Russia where a hypnotist was entrancing people and then stealing their money.

She didn't show up with new clothes or shoes? That sucks!
Somehow, I can't imagine hypnosis working this quickly. How in the world would someone choose a mark? Are th thieves set up like a street performers and people just hand over their cash in front of passersby and onlookers?
I just find this hard to believe! |
