I have seen several books promising to teach fellows how to overcome a woman's resistance to their advances, along with books promising to make it easier to win arguments with spouses.
Aren't these uses of hypnosis a bit unethical?
Are there organizations that issue warnings about the use of these programs to deny freedom of choice and self determination? |

There are various ones out there, with various methods.
One of them that I know about places a lot of emphasis on the ethics, training its students to always leave a woman "better off than when you met her."
Some of them use a negative approach, which (so I'm told) tends to attract women with "issues", thus causing (so I'm told, again) problems for the men. Serve 'em right.
Yes, of course it can be used unethically (as can just about any skill on earth). But on the other hand, women generally can see through men's bull quite quickly. So I retain an open mind on this, never having trained in these methods!

Where the caveat is "to leave the woman better off"....who determines she is better off?
Is this based on goals she has clearly stated before hypnosis is undertaken, or is it based on consensus by those outside of her hypnotic experience?

Good questions, Trudy.
As I've not done the courses, and as they are methods of influence rather than hypnosis, I shall leave these questions open.
