Has anyone used an EFT practitioner? How did you find the right one for you? Is there a list of criteria that you should use?

Hi Southboca,

Use your common sense! Check your local phone book, or google you local practitioners! Get a list together.

Please use the points below to help you in making the right decision and find the right therapist for you.

1. Phone the EFT Practitioner for a chat and find out if they are the type of person that you could imagine working with.
2. Ask them whether the have had experience in treating the condition that you need help with.
3. Ask them if they are a member of any National or International EFT organisations (You could then check the organisations authenticity by Googling them).
4. Ask for their fee structure and make sure that you understand this fully before commencing treatment.
5. Make sure that they are fully insured

Has anyone else got any tips for finding a good Practitioner?

I think a lot of this is new for people -- and even if you speak with the therapist word of mouth is the best way to go. I would also ask my general doctor - assuming they see a value to this which, unfortunately, not all doctors so -- and see if they can give you referral.
