| I've only recently heard about EFT. It's pretty interesting since it's like an amalgam of western and eastern practice. Although from what I've read so far, it seems to borrow a lot from the Chinese concept of Qi. I'm interested how does it rate with "modern" medical practitioners. |

Hi
The concept of energy meridians used by EFT does sounds similar to qi or ckakkra. The esoteric Eastern arts places more emphasis on the inner strength and the holistic nature of the human body. EFT seems like a variant of the think good and feel good stuff we normally do. Do we really need an expert for that? |

How so? When I first came across EFT, I found it weird and counter-intuitive.

Not highly at all (although there are some exceptions, of course). The explanation for EFT sounds like total nonsense, and perhaps it is. EFT works; but I doubt for the reasons that are stated.
