i've read a little bit about nlp and it seems that it would go hand in hand with helping someone enter into a trance.

how would i change my speech to help me speak more towards someone's subconscious mind rather than just saying something. i've heard of speaking more of a auditory, visual, or kinaesthetic theme to the person, but how would i figure out which their subconscious mind preferred?

any tips or nlp techniques for talking directly to the subconscious mind would be appreciated Very Happy

NLP is a big subject, and continually growing. Hypnosis, in the word's broadest sense, is an integral part of it.

I think you might have confused "preferred modalities" with "speaking to the subconscious."

People tend to have a preferred modality; however, not only can this change over time (though it's rare), it also can change with the subject matter at hand.

With regard to speaking to the subconscious, remember that the subconscious is always listening and isn't stupid. Perhaps you are referring to embedded commands and the like?

To learn NLP, you really need to do a proper course. Reading books will give you some theory, but not the practical application. It's a bit like expecting to be able to drive a car after learning the rules of the road and reading the car's manual.
