The last book I insist on having readily at hand is Robert Master's Neurospeak. Masters is an accomplished hypnotist, student of both Margaret Mead (he did recover, unlike Bateson) and Moshe Feldenkrais. This book is a layman's journey into the incredible world of Feldenkrais, and the concept of effective body use. Examples of the effect of language on the body are so powerful that they have become a staple in all of my public presentations, an this book is full of them.
The premise of this book is magic itself. The idea is that you merely need to read the text to affect your body. No need to 'intend' to perform the exercises...just read and enjoy.
I truly beleive that the combination of hypnosis and Feldenkrais is the next glorious step in the evolution of hypnotic work. Read this book and you will see why.
