No.

As Nancy Kline (Time to Think) explains in her easy-to-understand way, the thinking process comes directly from the interaction between the coach and the client.

The client is unable to do the process by himself, and the process needs a specific structure behind it in order to work.

Here's another perspective...

A coach cannot not coach himself or herself, as that is what intrapersonal communication is all about. In fact, every human being is always in the process of coaching themselves.

The other question is, "Is there benefit to a coach having another person coach him or her?"

To that, I would say, yes...because there are always blind spots.

Hello y'all,

I used to think I could coach myself, which I often do, until I started swapping sessions with another Life Coach, and boy, was that helpful?!

You know, sometimes its really hard to keep a cool perspective when your nose is hard pressed against the coal face, as it were. The woman I spoke to for some telephone coaching sessions really helped me clarify a couple of issues that were puzzling me and greatly accelerated my getting past a block or two that were slowing me down. Plus it felt refreshing and it relieved a lot of anxiety that I had barely noticed.

Best of all, when it was my turn to coach her, she gave me some valuable feedback that boosted my confidence no end in my coaching ability.

Any of you hypnotherapists out there want to swap a hypno session for a Life Coaching session? I'd be up for it if you live reasonably nearby (North London).

Hi Dave,

I'm a little ways from London, being across the pond, but I visited your site and thought this sentence to be outstanding:

"The only person who can transform your life is you. Now, thanks to Life Coaching, you don?t have to go it alone."

Regards,

Hey Alan,

Have you put your site in the directory at http://www.hypnotherapistfinder.com/therapists/ yet?

Hey Richard,

No, I haven't. I just came across your site and am getting familiar with it.

Thanks for asking,

Alan
