You know how some people believe in tarot cards? Well, I've witnessed a tarot card reading session and it made me wonder. People who claim tarot card predictions to be true.. Do the predictions come true because people believe in what the tarot cards say and therefore, act unconsciously towards the tarot card predictions? Of course, the counter to this would be that, tarot cards readers can really predict the future.

David Blaine did a show once to prove that fortune tellers don't really tell you anything. It's our minds that make us believe that the fortune tellers are saying something about us when all they're saying is something general. What he did was, he gave the exact same reading to 5 random people. And afterwards, they all testified that what they heard was exactly what they went through or is going through. David Blaine later revealed to them that he gave the exact reading to everyone.

It's not exactly the same though. Because with there are people who really believe in it and go on living their lives believing it. So maybe all that's happening is they're unconsciously moving towards what they expect to happen.
