Researchers at the University of Oregon has published in the journal of Psychological Science and reported on this website about the limits of muti tasking behavior in human

REPORT

Humans can only think/do about four things at a time. Though it's not a static number. The more complex the work is, the fewer number of jobs can be considered at the same time.

It also says that people with higher IQs can think of more things simultaneously. But merely having a high IQ doesn't mean a person will think about multiple things in a better way than a person with a lower IQ who is considering fewer things at a time.
