How does Hypnosis help with confidence?
My friend had a lot of bad luck recently and her confidence is very low.
I told her about Hypnotherapy but couldn't explain exactly how it works.
Can anyone explain to me in a few easy sentence how Hypnosis works?
My friend needs help and I want her to see a Hypnotherapist. |

No, I don't think so. There isn't even a definition that all hypnotherapists agree on.
I've written a short brief on hypnosis. If you're interested, go to my website (see the signature), and enter "how hypnosis works" (without the quotes) into the search bar on the right. Scroll down the results to find "How does hypnosis work?" (The page has a couple of useful links at the bottom.)

Well, it's more important that your friend wants to see a hypnotherapist. If she doesn't want to go, don't try to force her. She may want to work things out in her own way.

| Do you think that your friend is going to have this low confidence for a while or do you think it might be slightly temporary? Everyone has those weeks where absolutely nothing goes well and it can make us feel a little down. But then we just come out of it on our own accord. |
