Years back I read this amazing book, that totally changed my thinking on a lot of things, its been a long time since I read that book, but one thing in that book stood out and stuck with me.

the book is primarily about self-image and bettering your life by changing the way you think about yourself.

The craft method is one way of changing your habits of thoughts regarding yourself - when you think of yourself as fat you will definitely remain fat, etc, and even if you're skinny but 'think' you're fat- to you, you are fat, and the bottom line is you're unhappy about yourself.

This is a great way to make a change, and can be applied in many different ways.

It simply goes like this:
CRAFT

C: Cancel - when you have a negative thought say cancel aloud, saying it causes you to do, hear, and feel the word, you hear it with your ears, thinking it when saying it, and feel it with your mouth forming the word.

Example: "I could never look like that supermodel, she is so beautiful, I'm fat and ugly" - a good time to say Cancel.

R: Replace - Replace the negative with a positive.

Example: "I am comfortable with myself, and am beautiful as I am, I don't need to look like her"

A: Affirm - Create affirmations to go with your new positive thought.

Examples: "I am beautiful and smart" "I love that I am looking better and better each day"

F: Focus - this involves focusing on the desired outcome - create a vision, write a very descriptable paper on what it is you're trying to accomplish or where you would like to be.

Example: "I am so happy that I've lost 200 lbs, I look and feel so great, my wife loves me more than I ever thought possible, and we are finally expecting a child, It's such a major change and I am so happy to be able to walk and not feel out of breath or have my back hurt with every step. I love that people no longer point and stair at me, and children don't yell 'wow mommy look how fat he is', its so nice to be thin, and sexy. etc...etc...

Training: Train to get there - whether its physical training, or reading books, or taking courses, its about education and learning what you need to learn to make your goal accessible. Whether it's financial, business, Health, related or etc...
