|
|
I was looking through the site last night , and came across a couple of articles about surrogate tapping - ie doing the healing tapping for someone else - ie at a distance, or for a small child who cannot do it for themselves and such
Does anyone have experience with this , does it really work? |

I'd also like to know if this works.
Reiki works this way, and perhaps some people are trying to sell EFT off as Reiki as well, but then Reiki uses a whole different kind of universal energy, supposedly an energy stream that connects all life on earth together,
Where as EFT travels the standard Energy lines of Eastern medicine that you'd find in shiatsu, acupressure, acupuncture, etc... which just affect the body of the recipient.
But, stranger things have happened -- I might see it working if it was a video taped session that someone sent to another person on their behalf - but that could be half eft half psychological.
According to Gary Craig though you can receive benefits if you tap along with others going through their own mind cleansing EFT, for instance you may need to lose weight, but the Gary Craig may be helping someone quit smoking if you tap along and say what he says it may still help with your diet issues.
I have the 'Sharing Benefits' dvds and they are quite awesome |

Sharing benefits?
What is that
And just another question - supposing that it does work - why /how would the energies be diffierent from remote eft to remote reiki? |

Sharing benefits - is when someone else taps out their troubles - and you tap along, they may be tapping about quitting smoking or getting over a fear of spiders - but if you tap along, saying what he says - like at a seminar or on the tape - then you will reap the benefit even if you don't smoke, it will be applied to whatever issue you have...
Now the energy lines used in acupressure and shiatsu are called Meridians, these meridians are what are being tapped, each meridian follows a certain path, and there is a meridian for every major organ. Anyone can touch, feel, and manipulate these meridians, its fairly easy, and can be a lot of fun (I'm a massage therapist and Acupressure practicer).
Reiki, on the other hand is a special energy source, -- basically some chinese monk went upon a mount for 20 days without food or water and came down with the power to heal, in order to use the 'reiki' energy one must be 'attuned' to it. Which is a ceremony where they basically help you to 'feel' it and be able to use it.
Once you have your reiki attunement you can use reiki on people, plants, the environment, etc... and you can do it remotely(supposedly)... however as a hands on healer, I believe that it works much better in person, and it's hard for me to believe in long distance treatments - and believing is crucial for anything energetic to work.
EFT on the other hand I've seen work if the client is tapping themselves and it doesn't even have to be for their own issue...like I said with the 'Sharing Benefits videos'. |
