Receiving posts by email

You know how you can forget to check out the forum now and then?

Well, now you can receive new posts by email!

Every time someone creates a new post, or replies to a post, you'll get the post by email.

And...

You can reply by email, too, instead of having to visit the forum!

• At the top of the page, you'll see a link entitled "Forum Subscriptions".
  
• When you're there, you can choose to subscribe to all, none or some of the forums. (For example, if you're only interested in EFT, then just subscribe to the EFT posts.)
  
• You can also change some preferences. For example, you may prefer HTML messages instead of plain text.
  
• You can change your mind at any time!
  

If you receive a post by email and you want to reply, you can either visit the forum or just reply to the email. (Please remember to remove the original message from your reply, as it will already be in the topic!)

Do be patient when replying by email, as it may take several minutes for the forum to "catch up" and notice your email.

Remember to whitelist emails from hypnotherapistfinder.com in your spam checker. If you must show each email address separately, then the Forum Subscriptions page shows each email address to whitelist.

Someone asked me what "whitelist" meant.

Most spam filters allow you to "blacklist" an email address. This means that whenever an email comes from that email address, the spam filter will automatically consider it as spam, regardless of its content.

The converse is "whitelist". If you tell your spam filter to whitelist an email address, then the spam filter will allows allow emails from that email address to pass through to you.

So, to use this facility, you'd want to whitelist all email addresses from hypnotherapistfinder.com.

How do you whitelist email addresses? You'll need to refer to your spam filter's help facility.

Of course, that is a very good option for those who are short of time, but I would like to visit the forum at regular interval.

Paddy, thanks for telling us how we can import and export messages to Hypnotherapist Finder. I know that having this ability will make many of our responses much easier. I didn't know of this technique and so am very grateful to have read your message here.

What a great idea! Its so hard to keep track of whats going on in forums unless you visit them a few times a day. this will make things alot easier thanks!
