I would definately agree with Hyno-Therapist. I think the closest you can get to hypnotizing a dog is to call the Dog Whisper. Haha, it is quite funny but it seems like he could somewhat hypnotize dogs. For those who don't know what the Dog Whisper is, it is a show about a guy who helps trainers with their dogs by learning about the dog and it's habits. I guess you can say it is related to hypnotizing because he sometimes talk to the dog. |

I practice some of Cesar Milan's (the "dog whisperer") techniques on my dogs and it works on them! It takes a good deal of persuasion and (as he always reminds people) and mental stability and decisiveness to make his technique works, so I guess it's pretty close to hypnosis, though not quite |

I totally understand you because I want my dogs to listen to me too. But I guess dog obedience training is much much easier than hypnosis. I tried Cesar Milan's techniques but I failed. It proves that I am not a dog whisperer!
Maybe one of us should give it a try! |

Hey you Everyone can be a dog whisperer! We can't all be as good as Cesar Milan, but even he keeps telling everybody we could do at least some of the things he can do as long as we keep at it! NLP, man! |

| Animals act on instinct more than through will..I find it hard that any animal could be hypnotized..they couldn't understand what it is they are supposed to do.. Their way of learning is by training and repitition. |

There is a difference between how we learn as humans and how animals learn...
Animals do not have the same cognitive powes as we do..I don't believe. |

Hmmm... Really?
No actually I understand what you are saying, however in a lot of ways we learn the same way as animals.
Much the same as Pavlov's dogs! |
