Why would I do that? Smile

I love my junk mail - full of ideas and lines to test (and a great way to spend a tea break Smile)

Hehe, that is the first. Never ever I have heard a person spends his or her time reading junk mail over a tea brake. Yet, I am sure millions do today but it is not the custom way Very Happy.

As well as building websites I write marketing copy for my clients, reading DM (direct mail) is a great way to analyse techniques others are using successfully.

Reading other people's copy is a big part of my continuing professional education.

Hi All,

Well I submitted my information and got a call from their office today. They told me that Anthony Robbins is coming to the UK this year to give is 'Flag Ship' seminar - I am thinking of going - has anyone been before? If so what did you think?

Did the office mean his UPW (Unlimited Power Weekend)?

If so, I've been and I heartily recommend it. Superb!

But...

Leave your credit card at home!

Robbins is a master communicator, and could sell snow to the proverbial Eskimo. At a price way above the market rate, too!

And you really don't need to go more than once. I met people there who had been more than once, some as many as eight times!

Really, you need to learn what you learn at the seminar, put it into practice, then carry on with your (improved) life.

Paddy

Hi All,

Just to fill you all in - The Postman delivered my copy of 'Notes From a Friend' this morning. It looks like a great read and comes with a audio CD.

What a great freebie!

Yeah, but I have my office phone on divert to voicemail unless I've got a client booked to call in. No nasty sales calls to disturb me Smile

Hi Vigo,

It will be interesting to see if you get the book after not taking the sales call.

I missed the first and got the second - actually he was a really nice guy and there was not too much of a sales pitch, however I guess that will come over the months as Tony's next seminar approaches. Wink
